Julie Ostrem is from Sherwood Park, Alberta and is in her first year with the Vikings, playing primarily as sweeper. She is entering her fourth year in a Bachelors of Science program, majoring in Environmental Sciences and hopes to continue her education mastering in Environmental Engineering. Julie chose to come to Augustana because of the long line of relatives who have graduated from Augustana before her. When Julie is not on the soccer field, you can find her at the gym, at the library, or couponing at the local superstore. Her favourite food is spinach or pizza pops. Her favourite quote is from Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not”.  Julie Ostrem is the daughter of Tom and Margaret Ostrem, and the sister of Mary, Steven and Donald Ostrem.
