Kara Strange is from Falun, Alberta and is in her second year playing for the Augustana Vikings, primarily as a guard. She is enrolled in Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physical Education and one day hopes to become physiotherapist. As a returning player, Strange hopes to become a vital player for the team.

When Strange is not on the basketball court you can find them at the gym working out, or in her room studying. Her favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird, her favorite movie is The Blind Side and her favorite food is Lasagna.

One of her favorite inspirational quotes is: “When the world turns it back on you, you turn your back on the world.”

Kara, is supported by her parents Gord and Sheli, sister Erika and brothers Cole and Keegan.
