CAMROSE, AB - After another remarkable performance on the trails, Reggie Williams has been named Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
The Vikings hit the course this past weekend at the ACAC Cross Country Championships in Grande Prairie, hosted by the Northwestern Wolves. In true competitive fashion, Williams delivered yet another impressive showing, battling through a challenging 8km course to earn the bronze medal and secure a spot on the championship podium.
Williams has been a consistent force all season long, showcasing his endurance and determination at every meet. He finishes the ACAC season with four top-10 results, including three bronze medals, reaffirming his status as one of the top runners in the conference.
Now, Williams will join fellow Viking Allyson Thain as they prepare to represent the Vikings on the national stage at the CCAA Cross Country Championships in Prince Edward Island, hosted by Holland College on November 8th. Both athletes will look to carry their momentum and strong performances into what promises to be an exciting finale to the season.
