For the first draw, the Augustana women played Olds. They got off to a very slow start, giving up steal of four in the first end, single points in the second and third ends to begin 6-0 after only three ends. The fourth end they got their game on and grabbed points the next five ends to beat Olds 7-6; a great come back. The second draw had the team playing MacEwan. They played well and had their chances but lost 6-4. The Vikings played against Concordia for the third draw. They, once again, played well but just missed a few shots and lost 10-2.
The fifth draw saw them playing NAIT. The game started off great, with a 4-1 lead after four ends. However, they could not hold the lead and lost 8-5. Draw number six had the team playing Lakeland. The team had control of the game and got a lucky break in the eighth end to beat them 5-4. The Vikings played against the Red Deer Queens, which meant nothing to Augustana. The girls played a strong, simple game and got four in the eighth end to beat Red Deer 5-3. The Augustana women finished with a record of 3-3 for the winter regionals, an overall record of 4-8 with a final standing of 5th place and a big improvement from the fall regionals.
